Fire Alarm Design, Detection, Monitoring and Compliance Services

GAP Security, LLC recognizes that the success of any project depends on the effective design, submittal, installation and approval by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) of the Fire Alarm System.

For Fire Alarm Systems we offer the following services:

• Design for AHJ Submittal
• Inspection
• Installation
• Monitoring
• Repair

Once chosen for a project our team works with the Client, Architect, Engineer, Contractor and the AHJ to make sure that the Fire Alarm System meets all Code Requirements. We will design the Fire Alarm System to meet the applicable Codes using Architect/Engineer supplied CAD files and prepare the Permitting Package for the submittal to the AHJ for approval. Our company is properly Licensed and Insured as required by the State of Texas.

On completion of the installation, GAP Security, LLC will conduct a “full function” test of the Fire Alarm System as required to make sure that the system is operating properly and sending the correct signals to the Alarm Monitoring Facility before calling the AHJ for the Acceptance Test. At the acceptance test GAP Security, LLC will provide all documentation required by the AHJ for final approval of the installation.

If there are any other Systems (fire suppression, access control, elevators or HVAC) that are required to be Monitored, Supervised or Controlled by the Fire Alarm System, we will coordinate with those contractors to make sure all required codes are met and the operational aspects of each system that is connected to the Fire Alarm System is accepted by the AHJ.
